Review of Spartacus (1960) by Adam K — 06 Mar 2010
The legend of Spartacus. A nice work of historical fiction. Liberties are taken, but nothing outrageous. The insinuation of eating oysters and snails in the bath was truly genius screenwriting for 1960.
And who would not shed a tear when everyone stands saying, "I am Spartacus!".
