Review of Spartacus (1960) by Kyle H — 07 Jul 2014
My least favorite Stanley Kubrick film (apparently even Kubrick himself didn't like it). It doesn't even come close to revealing Kubrick's full potential as a director like his latter films would, but it's still worth watching, especially if you love the old epic films such as Ben-Hur and Lawrence of Arabia.
If you're not familiar with the acting chops of Lawrence Olivier, then that's another reason to watch this film, because he is brilliant in it.
