Fantastic! I was moved by Whitney Houston's solo performance-may she rest in peace. And how apropo it was to cast Jordin Sparks as "Sparkle?" Although the original production of "Sparkle" set the entertainment value bar high, I believe this new version was a fresh and just as entertaining approach to an old favorite of mine.
Costume designs were very appealing and flattering to the young ladies. However the over abundance of their hair pieces and wigs left a bad taste in my mouth. Overall, I loved the remake of "Sparkle" and was delightfully surprised to find out T.
D. Jakes produced it. Nice!
