A cross between Apollo 13 meets the Andrex toilet tissue advert and wrapped up with a definite soft double layered Disney feel.

Here we have 5 golden retriever dogs, on a mission to check out a space launch. Each dog has itâ??s own characteristics â?? Buddha â?? the spiritual leader. Mudbud - The messy one who loves getting dirty. Rosebud the sister with the feminine materialistic lifestyle. Budderball the one who loves to eat and finally, B-Dwag the hip-hop street dog.

All 5 dogs are owned by kids who are on a field trip to see the famous launch of a commercial space shuttle flying to the moon. The story is pretty simple. The 5 dogs get caught up in the launch and end up in Space on an adventure that consists of salvaging fuel from an old Russian space station and meeting up with Yuri (Diedrich Bader) and his dog Sputnik, who they adopt as their guide and knowledgeable mentor.

They visit the moon, take a walk and then have to venture home avoiding a journey of meteorites, sabotage and rescue.

All-in-all, this is one great fun filled packed movie that has some great special effects. Whatâ??s a Disney movie without talking animals, and this is no different â?? the dogs do talk with some clever CGI effects, and it doesnâ??t end thereâ?¦The movie is filled with some great effects and pitched at a younger audience, so don't expect any oscar winning performances as the acting within the film is pretty naff â?? especially the scenes of the kids feeling sad about their dogs, and the scenes of the world news reporting around the globe â?? which has one of the queen cheering on one of the dogs missions....woof!

Overall â?? this movie is exactly what it says on the tin. Itâ??s a fun filled kidâ??s movie that adults can also enjoy. Itâ??s cute, cuddly and full of jokes and dog related material.
