Review of Soylent Green (1973) by Tyrone H — 15 Jun 2008
I love movies which depict a dystopian future. This movie (based on a book by one of my favourite Sci-fi authors - Harry Harrison) predicts the environmental and overpopulation disater messages which we have now become used to.
Heston is solid as the bitter but effective cop but its is Edward G Robinson in his final film who steals every scene he is in. Still a great movie...must be due for a remake!
