Review of Soylent Green (1973) by Timothy B — 03 Nov 2014
A very odd though thought-provoking exploration of a dystopian world of overused resources. The synopsis makes sense and the overall themes are solid but there is a hint of cheesiness not to mention the elongated chase scene.
This film unfortunately will be best remembered by it's catchphrase that marks the twist ending and seals the overarching corruption that is Soylent Green. Worth a watch.
