Great film, I love the TV channel style it's filmed in. Downey Jr. and Tommy Lee Jones are absolutely amazing in it as well.

One of the best films I've seen in a while, Harrelson is fantastic, I have never seen such a character change from how he was in Cheers... I know it's a bit different though. I had been told to watch this film years ago and I'm glad I've finally got round to it, but I think if I'd watched it a few years ago I wouldn't have liked it..

I really enjoyed the film, but I don't read reviews of a film before I watch it otherwise I end up expecting too much. I see a trailer and if I like the look of it I decide on my own. I wanted to watch this film because I think that Darren Aronofsky is a fantastic director and that was my main reason for watching it.

The acting was very solid all round and I really enjoyed the way it was shown in a documentary way, showing every aspect about his life. The good, the bad and the ugly, so to speak. It showed a darker side to sports personalities that maybe don't make it mega big and suffer in later life when they can no longer perform, or make as much money as once they had done. As well as the conequences on their lives, there are enough sports stars out there who must have experienced a similar story to that of Randy's in The Wrestler.

Come and See.

What an amazing film, I have never seen anything quite like it in my life. It was so emotionally draining I couldn't function properly after watching it, it took a while to get into it but the characters in it were fantastic. Florya was an amazing character and the actor that played him was fantastic, he was only 16 and to play a part like that is unbelievable.

The only thing that let the film down is that it was dubbed rather than being subtitled, which always frustrates me. I can't stand dubbed films, a certain element of me must lip read when watching a film and dubbing just makes this even more impossible, it's like watching a programme and the lips are out of synch with their mouths... Grrrr...

Delicatessen.

Right, if you haven't seen this film watch it! Seriously, it's absolutely fantastic, it's funny a bit gorey and a bit weird. My perfect idea of a film, it's directed by the same guy that directed Amelie, so if you like that then you'll like this too.

It's a post-apocalyptic town and there is no food, so to speak, so it's about them getting by in various ways. Very strange characters and some fantastic black comedy in it. Especially the sex scene, it's unlike anything I have seen before.

The Big Lebowski.

I've never been too bothered about watching this film because of all the hype and cult status it has, but I really liked it. Steve Buscemi is so underused in it though. John Goodman probably has one of his best parts in this, after seeing Burn After Reading this is very similar in many ways. The money, the humour, the set-up and the confusion. But I think this was more enjoyable as The Dude and his poor rug was magical. "He pissed on my rug!".

Soylent Green.

Great film, Charlton Heston using his 70's good looks to bed beautiful women as always. This is a very peculiar film as, like Delicatessen, you never really find out what happened to the world for it to end up in such a mess. But in many ways it is similar to Delicatessen with the post-apoalyptic future and the lack of food. In this it is a lot more about class as well, with the rich being able to afford alcohol, meat, real vegetables and to have hot running water. Rather than the lower, poorer classes who have to queue up for a water ration..
