Review of Southland Tales (2007) by Jules M — 09 May 2009
Richard Kelly, writer director of Donnie Darko, brings us a high concept movie. Maybe too high concept because it didn't make a lot of sense. It felt like a David Lynch movie. The cast was impressive but the execution could have been better.
I think this is the kind of movie that needs a second viewing but it was so hard to get through the first time it would be difficult to muster up the courage to see it a second time.
