A very moving film based upon the events surrounding the arrest and trial of member of the White Rose anti-Nazi resistence movement in Berlin in the 1940's. A very moving portrayal by a wonderful actress.
The dialogue between Sophie and her interrogator is stunning. Sophie Scholl exemplifies the heroic qualities rarely seen, but so greatly needed in dark times.
