Son Of Frankenstein is actually a really grood sequel to an aleady kickass series. Although its not as elegant as the previous two...it still stands proud alongside them.
I have to say Bela Lugosi steals the show in Son Of Frankenstein. I know this is Karloffs last portayl as the monster...but Lugosi is goddamn creepy and very scary as Ygor. I cant wait to see his performance again in Ghost of Frankenstein.
Karloffs monster is once again primative and speechless for the most part, abandoning any type of human progression he made in Bride. Maybe it was the coma?
Son is a solid sequel to Universals best monster series.
