Review of Somewhere (2010) by Jeremy J — 17 May 2011
Nothing really happens here but Stephen Dorff and Elle Fanning are so charming that you just kind of fall into their lives not at all concerned with all of the putzing. I'm not so sure this movie would be as good with less attractive actors.
As Dorff's celebrity character develops a closer relationship with his daughter, there is very little character development and even less plot progression but just watching that play out is somehow almost enough.
..but not quite.
