Coppola's style steps into self-indulgence here. The subtle moments and stillness feel more like laziness. Could be a nice story, but it stays too low-stakes to be interesting. There's also too much Lost in Translation redux, and it makes you a little too aware of the poor-little-rich-girl daughter/daddy thing.
Acting is good, though.
