Review of Somers Town (2008) by Karen M — 07 Apr 2009
Short and breezy little film by the ever-good Shane Meadows. Thomas Turgoose, to use the old cliche, is one to watch. The story isn't anything earth shattering but it's not really reason you watch these kind of things.
The characters and dialogue are hugely believable and the Polish bits are funny. Surely it's almost time for Meadows to sell out and go crap?
