Review of Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018) by Ellach T — 29 May 2018
The most fun Star Wars movie since Revenge of the Jedi (that's what it was called when I first heard about it). Just FYI to the critic who complained that Solo was a collection of shamelessly recycled clichés: Star Wars (OK, IV, but that's what it was called when I saw it) was nothing but "shamelessly recycled clichés.
" That's what made it fun - and what makes Solo fun. (Not that Harrison Ford ever starred in another movie series that was a collection shamelessly recycled clichés, ahem, Raiders of the Lost Ark.
) Solo isn't a perfect movie, but it feels like a real Star Wars movie. And I haven't seen one of those for awhile.
