Review of Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018) by Steven M — 03 Jun 2018

I don't understand the negativity towards this film. As a Star Wars fan, I enjoyed it. The 2 hours flew by. This is a good film, not just a good Star Wars film. It's a space western crime thriller.

It was exciting and energetic all the way. You see Han go from an idealistic boy, to a man who realises how unfair the universe is . Donald Glover is excellent as Lando and always steals the screen when he appears, and while i'm still not sold on Alden Ehrenreich as Han, I still enjoyed watching him.

Lots of touches for Star Wars fans, but I have friends who don't like Star Wars that enjoyed Solo also.
