Oh my God....I have been wanting to watch this film since 2002...at that time I did not research what the film was about...all I know was it's a gay themed film. I have tried looking for it for many years and when I finally got to see it today....oh my heart breaks at the tragedy of it all. This world has truly lost a brave, great, respectable and honorable soldier. Rest in peace Barry Winchell, may God bless your soul. Amen.
On another note, the performance of Troy Garity and especially Lee Pace deserves all the awards put together. Lee Pace was soooo stunning, I first caught him in the movie The Fall and I thought God he looks like my ex...and when I saw him in Soldier's Girl I was soooooo blown away by his performance... as a transgendered woman on that show he bore a striking resemblance of a young Margot Kidder in Superman...
All I can say is Soldier's Girl is a truly worth viewing because it is exactly the way the world is....man loves man kills...
