Review of Soldier's Girl (2003) by Nic F — 22 Jan 2010

To be honest, I found myself expecting a little more than this movie had to offer me. There was nothing specific I could find fault with...but perhaps for the lack of a more cerebral edge. Then again, it may be argued that any foray into the more complicated side of the issue would have defeated the point.

..to present an unusual love in a secular way. It may be I just went in expecting too much from this romantic tragedy...still an admirable movie.
