This is a very sad and compelling true story. I was really impressed with the acting in this film, considering that this was a Showtime original movie. This is one of the first movies that I watch that involve people of the transgender community and it made me more sympathetic to their cause.
This film clearly shows all the evils that the "Dont Ask, Don't Tell" policy is causing in the armed forces. I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to learn more about the issues that affect the gay and the transgender communities.
