Six university students find themselves at a crossroads when the war starts. Some choose to collaborate, others join the freedom fighters. Rutger Hauer and Jeroen Krabbe perform wonderfully and have great actor chemistry in Paul Verhoeven's war epic.
It has suspense, love, espionage, betrayal, all in a story about picking paths in life. The ending is especially poignant.
