Review of Snowpiercer (2013) by Vasco M — 02 Oct 2015
Snowpiercer is original, fresh, and extremely well done. The talent is impeccable, the dialogue has no hint of redundancy, and the tension is consistently urgent and palpable. This is a story that is not romanticized in the least, and the struggle in the movie is made felt throughout and without abandon.
The movie had several possible ways to conclude the story and while it didn't opt for the one I thought would have been best, I still very much enjoyed this for what it is and how it bring something new to the blockbuster genre.
