Ambitious and original, Snowpiercer was without a doubt one of the weirdest movies I have ever seen. In this case, that wasn't a good thing, as the sheer randomness of the film, as well as the conflicting moments of grimness and appalling silliness left me confused as to how to watch the film.
Some incredibly striking scenery and some underhandely powerful themes do help Snowpiercer out, but in the end, it was too strange and unevenly paced to warrant a recommendation from me. An acquired taste.
