Review of Snowden (2016) by Hazzagalla — 24 Sep 2016
Snowden is an extremely important movie. It's a fascinating movie to watch, the secrecy and lies the NSA and the CIA took to monitor and document public and private information of citizens. The path we take to witness Snowden question the morals behind this secrecy and the enormous stress he feels is really well portrayed.
Secrecy means security, but does this make it morally right? Shouldn't the public and other countries have the right to know they're being monitored? Although some scenes drag a bit, and overall the movie feels a bit too long, the great cast and content definitely makes up for it.
