Alan Rickman plays Alex just fresh from prison and on his way to Winnipeg when he comes across Vivienne a talkative but young lady on her way back home..Soon after offering her a ride both are involved in an accident and she is killed.
.Alex decides to track down Vivienne's mother Linda played by Sigourney Weaver who happens to be a high functioning Autistic so she takes the news of her daughter's death fairly well...This is a strange yet touching film it takes awhile to get into but there are some fine memorable moments here.
