One cheeseball, wild ride. Some great performances by the cast, with Alicia Keys showing a surprising bit of acting talent. Hey! Your music sucks! Stick to acting! The gunplay, when it finally happens, is a mercyful and slightly realistic step away from most Hollywood shootouts.
People get shot - they fall down and bleed/scream a lot. That's it. No "getting thrown through windows yada-yada." That's simply it. Oh, and I would have watched this movie just to see the Tremor Brothers.
I think I hung out with these guys when I lived in New Orleans. All in all surprisingly cool movie.
