Way better than critics say it is. I guess they docked points since it isn't the type of pretentious snore-fest they're used to watching while hot-boxing their own farts, and typing self aggrandizing reviews.

Also note how these early 2000s critic reviews are dated by the lazy, knee-jerk assumption that any movie with stylish violence is automatically a Tarantino rip-off... such ignorant crap.

This is a good popcorn flick if you like your action movies with and extra side order of gun violence. It's an interesting movie and you won't be bored. It also sports an insanely good cast.
