Review of Smokey and the Bandit (1977) by Lucas Y — 30 Oct 2008
Classic Burt Reynolds, arguably his finest role next to Boogie Nights. Sally Field was very foxy and you'd be stupid not to pick her up if she was hitchhiking. Jackie Gleason has a great role as the Sheriff out to get The Bandit.
Overall, solid and entertaining movie and a must see to Burt Reynolds fans.
