Review of Smiley Face (2007) by Perrine B — 06 Aug 2010

There were a lot of interesting faces in this film. But the acting was a bit off par. I really didn't like any of the characters in their roles. I mean even Anna Faris was getting on my nerves. The whole movie she was stoned.

I will admit she had some funny one liners, but after an hour of her acting stoned, I couldn't take anymore. Adam Brody look like he picked out his costume in a Halloween USA store and John Krasinski was just boring.

I will say it was funny having the voice over as Roscoe Lee Browne. Also the story wasn't too bad. It was more clever than most comedies I have seen lately. It was really tough. Watching this film I kept going back and forth in my mind if I liked it, or did not.

It just had that feeling about it and that is what made it so hard to fully enjoy it. Oh well, I guess that's how it goes.
