Review of Smelchak (1919) by Hayden L — 27 Sep 2013
A surprisingly great film, Affleck is perfect as the title character. The film is both entertaining and exhilarating which is all a comic book fan can ask for. Colin Farrell and the late Michael Clarke Duncan are amazing as the two main villains.
The action sequences and fluid camerawork are amazing. Even though it kind of stumbles a bit during the last half, the experience and the story is still potent enough to make it work.
