Review of Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998) by Hayden L — 24 Jun 2014

Finally a Halloween film that is actually scary!!! This sequel is great, the acting is surprisingly good and scares are well staged and well thought out. A welcomed change to this tired and far overplayed series.

I loved the almost Gothic imagery and music which gives the film a dark and chilling atmosphere. The direction is great and with many thought given into detail and it's as if the film makers took a good look at the other failed films of the series and decided to bring the series back to its dark and gritty roots.

Now horror film fans and fans of the series can finally watch a Halloween film that is not only good, it's creepy and scary.
