Almost as annoying to watch as Dan in Real Life. Instead of ham-handed awkwardness and failed attempts at humor, Smart People opts for an utterly uninteresting plot involving applications for book publication and a college board of some sort.
It's entirely dry and stuffy, as are all of the characters and their relationships. The acting is pretty good, but a waste.
