Review of Small Soldiers (1998) by Raul M — 06 Jan 2010
I saw this movie when I was much younger -- the age of this movie's target demographic. And I absolutely loved it. It was like a more realistic, though more violent, Toy Story. My imagination was triggered and I ended up buying a lot of the toys from the film to reenact the scenes in the movie.
For a movie to have that kind of an impact on a kid it's got to be something special. And I believe Small Soldiers is just that.
