Review of Sling Blade (1996) by Jeremy C — 01 Sep 2008
This is a well directed, acted, and written film that really only suffers from some moments of unintentional humor and self-parody, mainly because of Billy Bob Thorton's performance. I liked half of his performance, but he comes off as annoying and silly at times, which is really a shame.
It's this flaw that keeps this good movie from being a great movie.
