Review of Sling Blade (1996) by Jennifer T — 15 May 2016
Pretty good movie. A mentally retarded man gets out of jail and joins life again. He meets a young boy who becomes friends with him and takes him in with his mom. John Ritter also works in this movie-He plays the boy's mom's gay friend.
The boy's stepdad is a real jerk to everyone and well you'll have to see the rest to see what happens. At first it got annoying the way the special guy talks but then I got used to it. Excellent film.
