Review of Sleeper (2012) by Ray C — 24 Sep 2009
I was delighted to see Woody Allen's science fiction slapstick again. All things that were bad in 1973 appear to be very healthy in 2173 when Woody wakes up again.
Doctor: "Here, you smoke this and be sure you get the smoke deep down into your lungs.".
Allen: "I don't smoke.".
Doctor: "It's tobacco! It's one of the healthiest things for your body! Now go ahead.".
In the end Allen and Diane Keaton join the resistance and destroy what is left of the Great Leader: his nose.
In between, the scenario enabled Woody Allen to act crazy and kiss Keaton, which was probably a smart thing to do.
