Review of Slaughterhouse-Five (1972) by Matt M — 01 May 2013
Without using Vonnegut's signature phrase of the book "So it goes" even once, the film adaption successfully demonstrates all the helplessness, resignation and even hope summed up in those three words.
It's divergent enough from the source material to still be interesting, but also faithful enough to deepen appreciation of the author's haunting message.
