Review of Slaughterhouse-Five (1972) by Charles S — 29 Aug 2010
The film shows the strange story of Billy who has the power to travel through time and at times we fall into the paradox. It recalls the terrible events of World War II seen through science fiction. The quality of special effects and sets are endearing.
The director can make us live his talent to boggle. But actors are not convincing enough and you pick up a lot during the last part as they fall too in science fiction. Even if it is an adaptation of the novel the writer would make the story less jumble.
