Review of Slap Shot (1977) by Brad M — 01 Feb 2011
Surprisingly dark comedy. The movie is so loyal to the era I can't quite identify with, well, anything. I can't help but feel the hockey is a caricature of the sport, considering I'm a big fan of the NHL and the sport itself.
Didn't laugh enough to call it a comedy. There are better sports movies.
