Review of Six Degrees of Separation (1993) by Jim F — 06 Jul 2011
How exactly was Paul clever enough to have all the answers for questions probed at him at the dinner party group that he cooked for, especially. He must have had some form of autism to become so cultured and knowledgable from the information gathered from an address book.
All we saw was how to say 'bottle of beer' and that people of higher eshcelons require nothing more than jam as a gift. It was totally unrealistic for him to gain so much knowledge about art and culture to have been able to fool so many harvard educated and worldly successful people.
The only real message I got from this film is that all our characteristics of our persona is made up of little bits of people we meet in life.
