My all-time favorite film. This is the best writing I have ever experienced in the medium--the most engaging ideas, characters, drama. I am endlessly captivated by this man's Magellanic journey into the lives of others, the power of fiction to alter and even create reality, so that it doesn't even really matter what the reality was.
Stockard Channing became a goddess in my eyes when she nailed this role. I cannot say enough good things about this--this film is one of the reasons I'm around.
