Review of Sisters (1973) by Caleb C — 09 Nov 2011
This movie is tied with Phantom of the Paradise as my favourite Brian De Palma movie. One major thing in common? The great William Finley. That guy is awesome. He can be creepy then physically comedic and then suddenly very sinister.
The story is really strange and rife with psychological weirdness with a great music score by Bernard Hermann. If I was to suggest a introduction to De Palma, I would probably start with this movie.
