Review of Sisters (1973) by Alex B — 20 Mar 2013
A black man is set up, right from the (fantastic game show) beginning (so, for amusement--whose amusement?), and emasculated, silenced, and stabbed in the back (in a very white apartment). And then a liberal, ambitious, young white female reporter/witness investigates (to advance her career!).
And then the reporter/witness/VOYEUR is taught a lesson! An amazing film about racism (at least as much as anything else). (And then there's also: the Twin Towers!).
