This is a good film, mainly because it is so heavily influenced by a classic, "Rear Window." The basic plot revolves around Danielle and her apartment which becomes the scene of a murder...maybe. Intrepid reporter Grace looks out her window one morning to see a bloody man pawing at the window in the next building. By the time she arrives at Danielle's apartment with the police there is no body, no blood, no evidence at all of a man in distress. The police don't believe Grace's story but she decides to prove what she saw.

The interesting twist here is that Danielle is perhaps not entirely stable. Her twin sister keeps popping in and causing all kinds of trouble and her ex-husband follows her almost everywhere she goes. She has some little red pills to help her but when her last does gets knocked down the drain her trouble escalates.

To tell any more of the plot would give to much away so I won't spoil the fun. What I can tell you is it was quite enjoyable to see such strong performances from Kidder and Salt, especially when they have such interesting characters to work with. The film techniques, including a few split-screen moments, as well as the score make this a worthy film.
