My college roommate was absolutely nuts for this movie...I was not as thrilled with it. There is the occasional fun moment, but the movie doesn't really go anywhere and it seems that more thought was put into the soundtrack than anything else.
Simply put, Cameron Crowe should know better. However, the Tim Burton cameo is one of the best filmmaker cameos ever..."he's only the next Martin Scorseeze!".
