Review of Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014) by Shawn M — 23 Oct 2014
About six years past the point where they could have gotten away with phoning it in comes this insipid and lacklustre re-tread of an overrated initial instalment. Brining in new characters while keeping the old (and sometimes dead) just makes the whole thing overcrowded and tortures the timeline beyond redemption.
Even more misogynistic than the first, not only do a series of women make incredibly stupid decisions for the men in their lives, the only female character to show real strength spends half the film naked.
