I honestly don't see where all the hate comes from. The only thing I didn't like is Eva Green, because I don't think she can act other than the same annoying character in eveything, and she is not attractive.
Yeah, it's years later and the special effects are no longer mind-blowing, but the rest of it all is no better or worse than the first. Just more of it to add. I enjoyed the first, so it was nice to see more from the world.
Even more would be welcome.
