Review of Silverado (1985) by Kelly B — 23 May 2009
Incredible cast, and a helluva ride! Lawrence Kasdan's revisionist western pulls from classic westerns, and teams together a great ensemble. You have four bad-asses to choose from, and several good villains.
The normal reasons for watching a western( scenery, good vs. bad, saloons, shoot-outs) are all present, and the dialogue is crisp. Best line in the movie, "Mister, I don't want to kill you, and you don't want to be dead.
" - Classic!
