Review of Silverado (1985) by Dawdlingpoet — 27 Nov 2021

I wasn't especially keen on this film at first, as it seemed quite cliched and basic, although it is perhaps one of a few family friendly Western films but it did seem to get more interesting towards the end. Some of the characters interested me more than others - I liked the short lady that ran the local bar for one.

There's some nice landscape shots and its an easy watch which is a bit entertaining - not, perhaps, as much as I'd like but its an ok watch, so I'd recommend it if your looking for something to watch with pre-teenagers perhaps, if you don't mind a little over acting. Also, it was amusing seeing John Cleese playing a bad guy.
