Review of Silver Streak (1976) by Lee G — 29 May 2010
What makes this film fun is you truly don't know what's going to happen next. The snappy, entertaining dialogue and the chemistry between the characters makes the film work. However, It takes a long time to introduce Pryor's character.
Pryor could have lifted the film higher. The film does have it's share of laughable moments, but the slapstick sometimes felt a little out of place. Still this is a great, contained, road trip movie mixed with serious dramatic elements and real peril.
