Review of Silkwood (1983) by David S — 21 Jun 2009
A well acted film exploring the true story of Karen Silkwood, who tried to uncover the dangers at the power plant where she worked, whilst risking her life and ruining her relationships with her partner and friend.
Meryl Streep gives another great performance here with terrific supporting cast of Kurt Russell and Cher. While at times slow, this is an involving film with a little bit of a rushed conclusion.
