Review of Silent Running (1972) by Ruby L — 18 Sep 2007
A beautifully told, poignant story about a man pushed to the edge. Where most Hollywood sci-fi relies on special effects and explosions, Silent Running is bold enough to trust its lead actor and the weight of the story (along with some pretty nifty visuals).
As impressive now as it was in 1972.
